This page is dedicated to the dogs that are still active in our breeding program. They are listed according to age.
"Z.Z." 6-21-01
Am/Can Ch. Setr Ridge Aerden Sharp Dres'd Man
ZZ had a very exciting show career. As a young dog he finished in under a dozen shows as a puppy, winning some nice placements at Specialties along the way. As an adult he finished his Canadian Championship with a Group One. As a veteran he has won numerous Sweepstakes and even an Award of Merit at the KMESC show. He is a proven stud, producing beautiful dogs like Dalton, Dottie, and Fergie. He stamps his puppies with many of his characteristics and successfully produces fluid movement and charisma. As of writing this in 2011, he has another litter of puppies on the ground. He is still a great asset to the setter breed, even in his senior years. ZZ is best appreciated on the move, his silky smooth movement remains some of best in the breed. In the fall of 2011 at 10 years of age, ZZ's semen was evaluated and we were all blown away. He still had 97% motility, normal morphology, and the sperm's forward progression was some of the best the vet had ever seen. She said she could count on one hand the dogs with the quality his had.

"Leinie" 1-14-2005
Grand Ch. Kei-Rin's Honeyweiss, Started Dog
OFA link for health clearances and pedigree ***Remember to hit BACK button to return**
(Ch. Kei-Rin's Root'N Toot'N Cowboy x Kei-Rin's Sasparilla, SD, CGC)
Leinie is Kayla's first born son, her dream dog. He is a consistent winner at the annual National Specialty, winning Winners Dog and Best Puppy his first year, Best of Opposite his second, and Award of Merits his 3rd and 4th year. After winning Best of Breed at Westminster in 2010, Leinie maintained his number one position and finished 2010 as the #1 AWS in Breed points! Leinie is a proven sire as well; Shandy and Annie are his daughters, both exhibiting superior breed type and temperaments, and both finishing easily in limited shows. In 2010, he was retired after earning his AKC Grand Championship by going Select Dog at the National Specialty. He then went on to get a leg towards his SD, which he finished in 2011. Kayla has plans to do obedience and more field work with him in 2012.

"Lena" 11-16-2006
Ch. Kei-Rin's Stormy Weather
(Best of Winners 2009 National Specialty Host Show)
OFA link for health clearances and pedigree ***Remember to hit BACK button to return*
(Set'r Ridge's Face of an Angel x Kei-Rin Rmz Crk Vanilla Sky)
Lena was shown sparingly throughout her "youth," culminating in her amazing win following the 2009 National Specialty, under Canadian breeder-judge Mrs. Honey Glendenning. Lena has always been a favorite of breeder judges: winning several nice wins from English breeder-judge R. William Powell, and a very nice Best of Breed win over BISS winning champions under American breeder-judge Elliot Weiss as a young lady. Lena was bred in 2011 to a Hemlock Lane dog, which resulted in one puppy. "Slide", aka Kei-Rin's Black Ice will be shown by his new owners throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. We hope to return Lena to the ring in 2012.

"Dalton" 3-22-2007
Ch. Kei-Rin's Velvet Revolver
OFA link for health clearances and pedigree ***Remember to hit BACK button to return**
(Am/Can Ch. Setr Ridge Aerden Sharp Dres'd Man x Ch. Kei-Rin's Flirtn Wth Disaster)
Dalton is on the recovery path from a nearly deadly battle with Blastomycosis. Blasto is almost always fatal as it is hard to detect early on, but thanks to the wonderful staff of Northwoods Animal Hospital and Pam's intuition, he was treated early enough to save him. He seems to have never been happier to be alive. Dalton is the best of his mother and father, together in one. He is a truly beautiful dog. Dalton started his specials career in 2011 with a Specialty Select Dog, the equivalent of "Runner Up Male." We are very excited to see what this boy produces and to use him in our own breeding program. His semen was evaluated in the fall of 2011, and despite his illness, he had incredible sperm counts (over 97%) and normal morphology. He will be bred to Lena in 2012.

"Dottie" 10-27-2007
Ch. Kei-Rin's Hot Blue and Righteous
OFA link for health clearances and pedigree ***Remember to hit BACK button to return**
(Am/Can Ch. Setr Ridge Aerden Sharp Dres'd Man x "Wink")
Dottie is one of the sweetest, mild-mannered dogs we have ever owned. She is truly a joy to live with. At only 2 years of age, she is a celebrity at the local nursing home. It comes natural to her to be around the elderly. In 2010 she was shown a handful of times, accumulating over half of the points she needs for her AKC Championship. She finished easily over 5 months, winning winners bitch or reserve nearly every time she walked in the ring. She will be bred in late 2011 and then specialed occasionally.

"Shandy" 3-30-2008
Ch. Kei-Rin's Summer Shandy
(Ch. Kei-Rin's Honey Weiss x Waterway Game Creek Coda Meister)
Shandy is an intense hunting dog, and will be more seriously trained after her litter in 2012. We love everything about this little girl. She is the epitome of breed type. She has a wonderful, outgoing nature, and we greatly look forward to what she can give us in the whelping box. She is a great asset to our program! She has been bred to a male that goes back to our foundation bitch, Scout. We are thrilled to see this pedigree come to life!

"Yukon" 8-16-09
Ch. Kei-Rin's Yukon Clover
OFA link for health clearances and pedigree ***Remember to hit BACK button to return**
(Ch. Kei-Rin's Lindy Rigger x Kei-Rin's Squanto Lizzette)
Yukon is a stunningly handsome dog, who has done very well in the ring. He won Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the 2010 National Specialty, and won another major his first weekend out this year. We finished him easily in a few shows this spring. He will be shown at select shows this summer and fall as a special. New stacked picture coming soon! He is also owned by Mike and Cheri Douglas, along with his father Lindy.

"Edward" 4-20-10
Kei-Rin's Midnight Sun
OFA link for health clearances and pedigree ***Remember to hit BACK button to return**
(Am/Can Ch. Wyndswept Best Kept Secret x Kei-Rin's Lets Get It Started)
Edward is a great, solid, moderate dog. For his age, he is holding together nicely and coming along well with his training. We are in no hurry, as setter boys take a big longer to develop in all aspects. We really like his neck and front assembly, his short hocks, and his elegant style. We hope by 2012 he is ready to hit the rings competitively.

"Annie" 6-4-10
CH. Kei-Rin's Annie Git Yer Gun
OFA link for health clearances and pedigree ***Remember to hit BACK button to return**
(Ch. Kei-Rin's Honeyweiss x Ch. Kei-Rin's Giddy Up N' Go)
Annie finished her championship in a few short months, showed sparingly since December 2010. We are excited about how this girl is maturing...it seems like every week we are more impressed than the last. She will make an excellent brood bitch for Kei-Rin, combining two of our favorite pedigrees. She may be specialed here and there in 2012 until she is old enough to get her health clearances, and then we have plans to breed her to Yukon.

"Bella" 7-14-10
Fowl Play's Lady Antebellum, major pointed
OFA link for health clearances and pedigree ***Remember to hit BACK button to return**
(GCH. Waterway Gm Crk Ralphie Boy-How Sweet It Is! x Fowl Play's Unsinkable Molly Brown)
Bella has exceptional movement and one of the best coats in the breed. In very limited shows, has already won several points over Annie and her sister, including a major in Duluth a few days before her birthday! She will be shown more in 2012 as she matures. She has a clear heart and clear eyes, and will be OFA'd for hip dysplasia in July of 2012. Bella is a sweet, loving girl who has a lot to offer the breed.

"Harlow" 3-19-11
Cirelyn Summer Bombshell, JH
(Am/Can Ch. Set'r Ridge Aerden Sharp Dres'd Man x Ch. Wyndswept Summer Seranade)
Harlow, aka "The Hellion" is honestly one of the SMARTEST puppies we have ever known. She is going to be a blast to hunt with, a blast to show, and she is already settling into a wonderful dog to live with. We are very please with both she and her brother, Cirelyn Travels of Marco Polo, who just won Best Puppy at the National!. At her first show Harlow won Best Puppy one day, and Best of Winners the 2nd day, despite her naughtiness! During her first hunt test, at less than a week over 6 months old, Harlow took away one of the highest scores with 36/40 (all NINES!) of the weekend!
